| 7th June 2008: Fife Show at Newbury. When Jackie and Brian said they were going to the Newbury show I was really shocked (well I thought they were mad really) as it is a 192 mile journey and they did it in one day. This just shows how dedicated they are and we greatly appreciate it. Well it paid off as they also took with them International Premier Ruskita Ozzy Valentino (their grandson) who was awarded his first CAGPIB certificate, well done Ozzy and his proud owners Lynne and Colin. Ruskita Wellynton Boots was awarded an EX1 and Ruskita Mara Shimba got an EX1 and nomination, congratulations and well done boys at least you had good news to tell brother Merlyn when you got home, also well done Jackie and Brian their very proud owners. |
| Sunday 18th May 2008: Second day at the Viking Cat Club Show in Lincoln, only three Ruskita cats today but still another good day as Ruskita Mymate Marmite was awarded a CAP, Nominated, Best in Show Male Neuter and Best in Show and Ruskita Guiness got an EX1, once again congratulations to Caterina, Marmite and Guiness. Ruskita Tia Maria was awarded a CACIB, well done Tia. We had a wonderful weekend and would like to thank all the owners of Ruskita Row for loving and showing their beautiful cats in such superb condition, we are very proud of you all. |
| Saturday 17th May 2008: It was a very proud day for us at the Viking Cat Club Show in Lincoln, there were in all eight Ruskita cats in the Ruskita Row. Ruskita Ozzy Valentino was awarded a CAPIB and became an International Premier, Ozzy was also nominated, congratulations and well done Ozzy also your very proud mum Lynne and dad Colin. EP Ruskita Magicol Merlyn was awarded his Pride of Honour, this was a sad day as our wonderful Merlyn is now retiring from showing, he will be missed but I am sure Jackie and Brian will bring him out at some stage so he can sit on his chair and greet everybody as they stop to speak to him. Ruskita Mara Shimba got an EX1 and BIV and Ruskita Wellynton Boots got an EX2, these two brothers are Jackie and Brian's up and coming new young men who we hope and I am sure they will carry on in Merlyn's footsteps, well done and congratulations to Merlyn, Shimba, Wellynton Boots and their proud mum Jackie and dad Brian. Premier Titan Moon also had a good day as he was awarded a CAPIB, Nominated, Best in Show Male Neuter and Best in Show, congratulations and well done to Titan, Denise and Ray. Also congratulations to our own young lady Ruskita Tia Maria who was awarded CACIB, Nominated and best in Show Female, well done Tia. |
| 3rd May 2008: Ruskita Titan Moon was on top form at the Manchester and District Cat Club show. He was made up to Imperial Grand Premier by judge Mrs Elaine Culf, she was delighted to have made Titan up to Imperial and wrote on his certificate "Sincere congratulations, he looks amazing, so stylish and with immense presence!" Titan received so many congratulation cards (12) from all his admirers the Maine Coon Cat Club stand sold out. Congraulations Titan also to your proud owners Denise and Ray Gillaspy. |
| Sunday 28th April 2008: At the Market Harbourgh FB (Fife) show Ruskita Magicol Merlyn gained the title of European Premier. He has achieved this honour by gaining 25 certificates at just 26 shows. As an added bonus he was also nominated on the day for BIS. On the same day Ruskita Wellynton Boots, in his first show appearance as a kitten, obviously looked to big uncle Merl for inspiration as he gained his Ex1 and was also nominated through for BIS. A very big day for proud parents Jackie & Brian. |
